Kirslyn Conlon

Director/ Psychotherapist/ Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner/ Key Worker

Kirslyn has a Graduate Diploma of Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP) and Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy at ACAP, as well as being an NDIS Proficient Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and Early Intervention Key Worker. Kirslyn is a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), the Australian and New Zealand Mental Health Association (ANZMHA) and Behaviour Support Practitioners Association (BSPA).

Kirslyn has worked with tertiary students ranging from 18 - 73, with experience in Trauma, LGBTQIA+, Anxiety, Depression and Disability Care. Kirslyn also has a specific interest in the development of Paediatrics aged 3 - 10 and assisting them with their cognitive and social development, as well as helping families with understanding and learning about the developmental impact of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD) and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity- Disorder (ADHD).

Kirslyn has training in dialectical behaviour therapy, person-centred therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy, and cognitive-behavioural therapy.

She is passionate about all individuals having the ability to live their most authentic life. Kirslyn is fully committed to walking alongside you on this path as you navigate the challenges and opportunities of life together.

Kirslyn is exceptionally passionate about Paediatric counselling and positive behaviour support and the benefits of play for children, particularly those who are neurodivergent or have a diagnosis of global developmental delay.

Justin Davis

Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

Justin is a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, proudly serving the MacArthur, Wollondilly, and Southern Highlands regions. With a Bachelor of Psychology and currently pursuing a Master's in Counselling, Justin combines extensive academic knowledge with over 10 years of hands-on experience in support work under the NDIS.

Specialising in Autism, ADHD, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Justin is passionate about providing tailored support to individuals, helping them achieve their goals, improve their well-being, and lead fulfilling lives. With a strong commitment to promoting positive behaviour change, he works closely with individuals and their families to create sustainable, effective strategies that empower those he supports.

When he’s not working at Thrive in Thought Therapy, Justin pours his passion into his own support work practice, Thrive Together Care, where he continues to empower clients to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Amanda Sneddon

Occupational Therapist

Amanda is a qualified Occupational Therapist, having graduated from UWS in 2011 and is an actively practising AHPRA registered OT. She has over 8 years of experience assessing disability and injury and recommending capacity building strategies and functional upgrade plans.

Amanda has coordinated and provided rehabilitation for individuals with complex primary diagnoses such as Brain Injury and Dementia. This includes working with their families and a multidisciplinary team to assist with their individual rehab goals. 

She spent 2 years of her career working abroad in England for the National Health Service (NHS) in inpatient orthopaedics, the emergency department and care of the elderly. 

She currently works in private practice at The OT Space, specialising in supporting adults and adolescence, specifically with a mental health diagnosis/es to maximise their independence and quality of life.

Rhiannon Spence

Early Intervention - Key Worker

Rhiannon brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as an early intervention therapist. With a background in education and a Bachelor of Education degree, Rhiannon spent many years as a primary school teacher before transitioning into early intervention—where she found her true calling. Through her practice, Nurtured Journey Early Intervention, Rhiannon supports children aged 0–9, working closely with families, schools, and early learning centres to provide consistent, collaborative care.

Rhiannon has extensive experience working with Autistic and ADHD children, including those with high support needs, and takes a strengths-based, child-centred approach to every interaction. She has a particular interest in supporting AuDHD parents and their children, helping families build understanding, connection, and harmony in their daily lives. As a valued member of Thrive in Thought, Rhiannon embodies our shared commitment to promoting choice, inclusion, and meaningful outcomes for all participants.

Julie-Anna Vella

Physiotherapist

Julie-Anna (Jules) is a dedicated physiotherapist based in the Macarthur region, holding a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney. With over six years of experience in the NDIS space, Jules brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her practice, supporting individuals across the lifespan.

Her clinical interests span paediatric physiotherapy, chronic conditions, behavioural challenges, and neurological conditions —areas in which she is known for her holistic and person-centred approach.

When she’s not working at Thrive in Thought Therapy, Jules pours her passion into her own practice, Pretti Bright Therapy, where she continues to empower clients to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Nicole Napret

Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

Nicole holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and is an accomplished Early Childhood Educator with over 15 years of experience in the sector. As a skilled facilitator of behavioural interventions in paediatrics, supporting individuals with diverse disabilities and mental health presentations.

Nicole is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons), continuing her passion for behaviour support. She specialises in Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and brings a unique perspective as an Autistic, ADHD and PDA adult with neurodivergent children. This lived experience enriches her ability to provide compassionate, person-centred care, especially for clients with complex behaviours.

As a neuro-diverse affirming educator and behaviour support practitioner, Nicole is dedicated to neuro-affirming evidence-based approaches that foster positive outcomes. She joins the team as a Key Worker and Core Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, and she is strongly committed to helping individuals thrive.
